Yobe Desert Stars FC delivered an outstanding performance, defeating Adamawa United 2-0 at the August 27th Stadium in Damaturu. Goals from captain Chinedu Chikwura Zaza and Amos Karami secured the crucial three points for the team.
The victory reflects the unwavering support of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Yobe State, Honorable Mai Mala Buni, whose dedication continues to inspire the team. Equally instrumental is the leadership of the club’s chairman, Mohammed Alkali Achama Sarkiyo (S10 Z10), a loyal supporter of Governor Buni, whose guidance has been key to the team’s recent successes, including last month’s win in Kaduna.
