HISTORY OF ECN FOOTBALL ACADEMY
ECN Football Academy NIGERIA metamorphosed into ECN Global Ventures Limited in January 2023, established to discover and empower young football players in Nigeria and the rest of Africa through the game of football.
The academy is duly registered and affiliated with the relevant football authorities in Nigeria.
The Corporate Office of the Academy is at Suite 10 New Jibeco Petrol station Beside Living Faith Church Lokoja-Abuja Highway Gwagwalada Abuja.
The Academy registers players between the ages of U10, U13, U15, U17, and Senior team.
Within the space of one year of its establishment, ECN Football Academy has made a remarkable impact at various tournaments it participated in within Gwagwalada FCT and its environs.
The U13 teams won the Gwagwalada Football Coaches Council U13 Football Tournament in 2023. They finished at the Quarter-final stage in 2024.
The U15 team was a Bronze medalist in the Gwagwalada U15 Coaches Cup (Bocknor U-15) in 2023 and finished as Runners in the 2024 edition of the tournament.
The U17 team which were eliminated at the Gwagwalada Football Coaches Council U17 Tournament (ECN Cup) in 2023, were semifinalists in the 2024 edition of the tournament.
The ECN U19 team had a remarkable impact at the 2023 and 2024 Gwagwalada Football League where they could not make the Super 8 in both editions. But, they were semifinalists and finalists in Kwali Football Coaches Football Tournaments in 2023 and 2024.
ECN Academy believes in the gradual progression of players from the junior cadre to the senior category. They combine their football career with their academics.
ECN Football Academy seeks collaboration with individuals, philanthropists, investors, government, or corporate organizations to be able to achieve its laudable dreams.
